Although annoying, paypal can be convient. When I bought an upper reciever, I noted it was for "Chevy ar15 upper intake manifold" or something like that. Even on ebay, I listed an item and in the item description I stated, "payment to be made via paypal AND YOU COVER THE PAYPAL FEES (add 3.5% to the auction total)." Ebay waited until the item only had 4 hours left on the auction and treminated the auction stating "we at ebay do everything we can to ensure there are no hidden fees associated with auction" or some garbage like that.

If you get your account back, just be more discrete. Remember, the typical liberal doesnt like guns...or anything that has to do with guns...or anything associated with anything that has to do with guns...
"It is better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it...know what I mean?"

They wanted to know what an "Upper" was... I told them I was selling illegal barbiturates without a license and they never bothered me again.

Paypal have froze a handfull of accounts due to the same thing you did. Good luck with your situation.......
            oh the freeze is permanent?

Maybe next time they should state "500Watt Receiver".

Hmmm...I just read their rules: http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...ide&ed=weapons

It lists hi-cap mags as prohibited. Does that mean mags holding less than 10-rounds are okay?

The essence of Western civilization is the Magna Carta, not the Magna Mac. The fact that non-Westerners may bite into the later has no implications for their accepting the former.

EDIT 2020: To be fair that seems to apply to many Westerners also.

Not everyone knows about this paypal policy. I had a newbie put .22lr conversion kit in the notes section and my account was frozen.

So it is good to put up a reminder for all those new to buying firearms parts online.
