I had someone complain about my signature it used to read

"I hate people that are buying all the ammo from wal-mart and reselling it for profit."

It was deleted by mods, No explanation why... It was in my signature, I have seen WAY more offensive signatures that mine. WTF!

it was probably deleted because you were calling out other members in it.

It all depends on what day, and at what time you go. Try going in the morning during the week.
Good to know -- last time I had been in that store a few weeks ago, they had told me there was no relief in sight. I'll admit that I tend to avoid the Oxnard store, because I can only get in there on weekends (I live 40 miles away) and it's a zoo on weekends in there, a complete disaster. I'll give them a call next time I'm in the area, but I'd much prefer it if the friggin Simi store would just get some .22lr already.

I mentioned no names, does that make me guilty anyway? I could have a signature that says people are stupid, now its up to them to make that decision about themselves on there own, not mine. lol

I thought it mentioned at least one calgunner, and had room for expansion, but that might have been somebody else.

either way, it is a private site, and it apparently didnt meet the standards the mods/kes has laid down.

I would PM them about it though, if you truly feel wronged.

I used to go to Simi Valley, until I went last week and saw a bunch of little white tickets with guys names and phone numbers in the display case. There were so many of them in there it looked like somebody tried to make extra-large confetti.

So I guess the manager In Simi Valley calls these people when the ammo comes in. I live about 35 minutes away from there, so I'm pretty much out of luck on that. The Oxnard store does not do this, and I think it's a more fair approach. First come, first served as they say.

Im all for free market, but when times are hard and ammo is very hard to get, well, call me crazy but we should have curteousy and respect for each other... WE ALL HAVE ONE COMMON CULTURE; GUN CULTURE, there for we must respect each other.

It has nothing to do with limiting the purchase to any amount, I would be against that.

No matter how you look at it, we ARE on the SAME TEAM, and if gun owners cant respect each other, then how can we count on each other when it comes to survival and protection of our liberty and freedom?...

Also it has nothing to do with ammo, its the principal of the whole matter, too bad some of you didn't understand that point !!!

Ugh, shut all these whiny reselling ammo threads down! If you don't like it, don't buy the resold ammo. If you can't buy it when you want to, there are THOUSANDS of people not buying to resell, just buying to own, and they are all in the same situation as you. If you NEED ammo, ORDER IT !!!! @!@!$!!#%R%$#@%$@$%#$&^$^%$#%^#$#^#^$$#^)$()$^%*

What principal?? The one you made up that everyone should be nice and only buy the bare minimum so that anyone else can go buy it?

If there is 40 boxes, people just buy 40 boxes because they're greedy. I just bought about 1000 rounds of 9 and 45 and there was plenty left. I could've bought few thousand more, but in my case, I didn't want to. There are other people who also looking to shoot their new pistol.

the principal of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" comes to mind.

                            just throwing that out there.

Greedy? I buy all I can, so I don't have to keep looking for more, so do a lot of people. So when they see the shopping cart with 300 boxes of ammo in it sitting in the ammo dept, they just wheel it right to the cash register!

And come on, do unto others? Buy ammo you want Oooor... buy just a little, and hope that by leaving some on the shelf you are doing someone a favor?

What if YOU are the one who DIDN'T buy the ammo that some psychopath then went into that same store, bought, and proceeded to lay waste to the whole store with??? You could have prevented that by being a responsible gun owner and hoarder of ammo!

Simple. No one ammo company has any sort of monopoly on ammo. If the company raises product to meet supply, guess what? More profit.
