Well they are when compared to a Hi Point and the custom 1911 is expensive when compared to Glock.

Best fun is having a Hi Point and a custom 1911 that looks kind of like Matter from Cars on the outside and out shooting the Glock guy that thinks his Glock is better than both with either.

Need a 'Bacon' option. I have not used a Highpoint, so I cannot compare it to my G17.

Umm... maybe youre just a better shooter than the "Glock guy". Its probably you not the Hipoint that is better. So would you be able to shoot the "Glock guy's" Glock better than him? What would happen if a "Glock guy" shoots his Glock better than you shoot your Hipoint? There has to be a better shooter than you somewhere in the Galaxy. Or are you just the bestest on the planet with your Hipoint?

              WORST TRIGGER ??

This guy dropped a Hi-Point and a Glock from a helicopter. The Hi-Point broke. The Glock still worked.

If you have to buy 10 of them, then the HiPoint is superior. If someone is giving you 10 of them, take the Glocks.

IDK been awhile since I've shot a Glock, but my DA revolvers and SKS keep me where I can adapted to crappy triggers pretty fast, so it's possible.

Fun fact: In terms of body count, the HiPoint C9 is the deadliest weapon in the US arsenal. GWOT hasn't been won yet but so far, the running tally says:

                      #3 MQ-1 Predator
                      #2 SFC Dillard Johnson
                      #1 HiPoint C9

That said, for me, it's fun to be able to out shoot those who spend more on gun thinking that money buys accuracy or precision and they don't have to do their part because, they paid more for their gun.
That does not make a difference as to which is better, just which is cheaper.

The cost of an item doesn't make it better, does it? It might be better to buy because you are cheap, but under that logic then Harbor Freight sells the best tools because they are cheap.

As one manufacturer told me (not firearm related), the reason for the lifetime warranty is because you will need it. It is a selling point, but then again I have bought items with a lifetime warranty and it has not always worked out well. One was a Lowe Alpine jacket and I was told that it's lifetime was over, only 3-5 years. Another didn't have anything to replace it with, so I was SOL, as well it life was over.

I was referring to Hi Points warranty where all these you tube torture testers drop them from helicopters, drag them behind trucks, shoot them with other guns, etc, etc... and Hi Point replaces/repairs them free. Most warranties only cover defects.

Yeah, because they are cheap guns for them to make and they convince people to buy them based on that, but what do you think would happen if every owner did that? Can you say bankruptcy? End of story.
