See, I consider my Glock a beater. I dont worry if it gets lost or stolen or whatever. Its just an inexpensive tool. Im not that destitute that I can only afford a Hipoint.No. It's everybody else opposed to Hi Points who start that.
I don't ever compare my C9 to anything else other than cost factor or reliability. I own nicer and more expensive pistols.
What I enjoy is that It's a beater, it cost $150. I don't worry if it gets stolen, confiscated, lost or abused. But it still works and I would buy again.CRPA and NRA member.

See I feel the same both are beaters, I just feel the Hi Point is a superior beater and you don't.
Guess the price would make the Glock a high end beater?

As far as more bang for your buck, Hi-Point.
Hi-Point has lifetime warrantee. Glock is not.
We can get a Hi-Point for $170. A Glock is $500
We press a trigger on a Glock and it goes bang. So does a Hi-Point.
But seriously, I still pick something else over Hi-Point any day. OMG, the thing is so hideous
I would have starved or just eaten instant noodles for months to save up for something better than that ugly beast
That something else is not a Glock btw. It would be a used XD or a S&W Sigma.
And I am a bit drunk right now

What do you Hi Point boys use for a back up - a zinc framed Raven Arms 25acp - you know cause they work and they cost like $75 Dollars; just as good as a S&W J frame -

A company makes a firearm available to anyone regardless of class. Yet snobs want to tell you what's best to use. I can buy Snap-On or Harbor Freight. I can buy Wal-Mart or LL Bean. I can shop at Trader Joe's or at the corner market.
I can buy a Hi Point or a Glock.
But to demean someone or a group because they are "destitute" isn't any part of America I want to be associated with.Last edited by Kestryll; 09-28-2018, 10:31 PM.Comment

Just to clear something -No, I really don't.
It's not as big as your PC mind makes it to be. A company makes a firearm available to anyone regardless of class. Yet snobs want to tell you what's best to use. I can buy Snap-On or Harbor Freight. I can buy Wal-Mart or LL Bean. I can shop at Trader Joe's or at the corner market.

I've been shot at, stabbed, and jumped, plus I've been in some serous fights, seen all kinds of stuff in the street - so i take what i have to defend myself a bit more serious than others.
I don't believe that a $2,000 dollar gun will make you an instant Nina - a hell of a lot of people have been killed by moderately priced weapons and calibers.
So, Hi Point no Hi Point - Glock or no Glock, by what you want.
A glock makes me feel good, so do other tools, i still have to practice and stay strong so i have the ability to use whatever to its full potential - whatever that may mean.
