Exactly. In my last African hunt I had a PH, two trackers, a game scout (to make sure hunting was done according to rules), two skinners, a cook, and a housekeeping person.
The tips I gave per day to each member of the staff (not counting the PH which was 15% of the total) were close to a year's worth of wages in Zimbabwe. One guy that I tipped real well due to extraordinary tracking services was in tears.
Unemployment at Zim was about 95% at the time.
Not to mention two elephants weighing 20,000 lbs or so fed many people for months.
