I live up in the sticks so people are more red leaning but Ive had a few customers tell me that the NRA is a terrorist organization. I just laugh at them and make sure their check clears.

Nothing says we cant add a Non NRA 5% to the estimate!

I'm in the bay area. Just trying to irk the Berkley folks. I get more honks, with thumbs up [emoji2] than negative results.
I sport a few NRA stickers on the work truck. Did have one on the prius until my wife found it 2 weeks later.

You're in that proverbial rock and hard place but you shouldn't have to remain silent in fear of your livliehood over a constitutionally guaranteed freedom. Highly unprofessional bashing a customer and wouldn't be tolerated at my work.

These dang libs are out of control and have lost all ability to be civil and kind and my life is paying the price for it...getting a little frustrated with it.

This is your only real option, there is no way to reason with a leftist, they are mentally ill.

            Good Luck.

Nope, file compliant or report with HR first get it on record before someone else presents "their" view of what happened.

Sad world we live in these days.

I’m in medical where 99.9% of employees are left leaning Obama loving “professionals.”

Second. Keep it to yourself and consult a lawyer. HR is paid by your company. They are/will do whats best for the company.

2A. File initial complaint with HR with broad generalized comments. Don't post all details. Leave room for additional details etc.

Third. Review the employee handbook. Watch for arbitration rules that you may or may not have to abide by. Double check w/above attorney.

Fourth. Don't post anything else online or in email to ANYONE else. Not even to your closest friend/relative/spouse/dog/facebook etc.

                    Fifth. File complaint with HR.

Sixth. Look for new job as Plan B.
why wouldn't first be employee hand book review?

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think I’m just going talk to my store lead first before calling the HR. This way I’ll explain that my views are completely different and I don’t appreciate other talking smack about them. I’ve been called many things, had to put a smile and walk away just so I don’t lose my job.

I'm not sure "hostile workplace" is a reality, it's just a threat and has no weight.

If you have a strong marketable skills, start looking for work. A company change and fresh air would likely be a positive in your life.

Otherwise if you're happy where you're at, don't rock the boat and collect your paycheck. Who cares what those morons are blabbing about.

Though if you want some lulz, record them bad mouthing a customer and send that person a private email with a throwaway address.

It may cause him to be fired.
