    Very well put!

It is more than about guns, but that tops my list of why I want to leave. Some other reasons, in no particular order, the social(ist) engineering being shoved down our gullets, local Republican and/or Conservative representative not being able to make ANY discernible difference in Sac-o-rotten-tomatoes, the taxes--- don't you just love paying around a dollar more per gallon for gas than most states? I could go on but I'm preaching to the choir.

I wasn't born here but my family moved here just a couple of months after I was born (I turned 60 in May). I considered this my home. But it isn't any more. My home has burned down & has been replaced with some thing akin to the Winchester Mystery House---- doors and stairs going nowhere, many bathrooms but only one that is functional, etc.--- only worse.

OP, your job now is to convince those who didn't have to work hard for that freedom, yet gloat about it, to get off their collective @$$e$ and join an organization that will (1) keep it that way and (2) help their brothers & sisters in arms behind enemy lines. NRA's membership numbers are way too low due to (IMHO) there being no perceived threat in these "free states".

Remind them that the pro-2A folk in CA actually don't "deserve" it because we get lumped in with those who voted for these asinine laws. I don't know if it is laziness, apathy, ignorance, a combination ...but these folks seem more than happy to throw the rest of us out with the bathwater called "California". If we had the backing of the rest of America, perhaps we'd be in a better place to fight these stupid laws on the front lines and preventing them from getting a foothold in the first place.
Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon.

I pulled out of California last month. San Jose was already too crowded and getting worse with high-density housing going in everywhere and yet not a single penny to widen roads or improve other infrastructure. "Spare The Air" days in winter as well as summer and libtards and their policies ruling the roost at every level of government. Wife and I agree this was the best move for us. We'll miss family and friends but we won't miss California one bit.
I was warned about "Anti-California" sentiments up here but I have yet to see it. Probably because so many people already up here are California ex-pats The DMV is fast and efficient, the Sheriff's Office was friendly and efficient and the restaurants and stores only care that I have money, not where I am from and yes, the many gun shops up here are well-stocked reminders of what California was like before Roos-Roberti and SB-23.
California has become a magnet for liberal/progressive/socialists and others that are anathema to my way of thinking and life and as far as i'm concerned, it's only going to get worse.
I am glad I got out when I did.

I'm out in about 48 hours. I'm not from here and it's a fine place for other people but it's not for me. You all carry on perfecting your paradise, and please don't follow me and screw up my home state.

Life's too short to waste and I knew I had to see what its like to live in free America at least once in my lifetime... no plans on moving back anytime soon... I make more money for less work and the toys here are things I've always dreamt of...

So you're enjoying the freedom your place of residence grants you. Until it doesn't. Congratulations.

Yup, you can have a single or doublewide trailer next to a mansion and no one seems to mind, blacks and whites live in separate parts of town, brothers, sisters, cousins can breed amongst themselves without a whisper. What's not to love?

FYI, I lived there for 6 years, LEO as a job, and couldn't wait to get outa there. Redneck city from Fayetteville to El Dorado/Monroe. You haven't seen real bigotry until you move the the south.

You are critical of Arkansas and you live in a third world open sewer? High crime rate, high cost of living, high zombie drug users, rampant homelessness, illegal sanctuary city, hyperfeces in the streets. Good luck to you sir. You are the one who needs it.

Im still getting used to how quiet it is... the rangemaster came over to my lane and told me he thought I was using a staplegun rather than shooting something.

I work in healthcare and paid less than $200/sf for our house here. Income tax savings will be about $30,000 a year based on what I paid in California last year.
