I voted for "...there needs to be some restrictions on who can keep and bear"

I do think it is important to keep firearms out of the hands of those who pose a danger to others, or to themselves.

Well I DID bring an operational (had the firing mechanizim we'd put those round sticky caps under) dewat pineapple grenade to school so we could shoot caps with it, but it was 6th grade and along time ago, the Yard duty teacher (WW2 Army Vet) though it was ok to take it out in the field and play with it at recess! Try that now and see what happens!

So far that's been my limitation AND storage space.

Why not? The citizens would be armed, why not let those here honestly enjoy the same human rights?

or the local gangs to buy/carry whatever they want?
They already can. Ownership isn't a problem, we need to punish mis-use.

felons recently let out of prison?
If they aren't ready to be members of society, don't let them out. If they are out, they are members of society.

people with restraining orders or known spouse beaters?
See above. Also, an armed wife is a lot less likely to get beaten.

AT-4 rocket? sure go ahead. want to own some C4 or some detcord, sure, not my problem, you probably have some large boulders to take out on your property or whatever.

I've written up my ongoing adventures as I learn to hunt.

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.

I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.

I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.

the first choice is the one that made this country possible and the rest of our rights followed because we could back them up with the first choice and not depend on the government. It also keeps government in check and prevents a dictatorship by a small number of men/women namely the legislature, executive branch, and the courts.

Are you ****ing kidding me? I can tell you where you can stick your “common sense” gun control.

So, convicted gang members should have rights to buy guns straight out of Turners? No background check?

New immigrants straight outta war torn Syria should be able to walk into Riflegear and buy, cuz they're in the good ol' USA?

Meth heads and domestic violence convicts should be able to pick up a shotgun at Big5?

Teens with 5150 identity problems and misguided anger at their first girlfriend need access to Glocks? Tide pods aren't enough?

Well, frag or gas anyway. They should be able to pop smoke to warn of hot LZs though.

Meth heads and domestic violence convicts should be able to pick up a shotgun at Big5? (3) They should already be in prison, so problem solved. If they're out, see #1. If they were never convicted go look up the definition of "due process".

(4) Theres that pesky "due process" thing again. If they're institutionalized for their own protection or the protection of others, problem solved. If they're out, see #1.
