You clearly dont understand how internals in a gun work.

I can flex a Glock, Sig P320, or any striker fired gun and release the striker from the sear if I had the strength to do so without any ill effect. But at no point in the flex is the trigger bar riding over the plunger safety of the striker allowing the striker to hit the primer.

The trigger HAS to be pulled in order for it to fire. but the fact of the matter is no one can flex the gun enough without destroying some part of it

I have appendix carried a glock for some six years now. Never had an issue. I have had the same soft holster from blackhawk the entire time. This is most likely from human error than the holster or gun.

Appendix carry violates rule 2 of the standard safe handling rules i was trained on:

“Never allow the muzzle of any firearm to point at anything you are not willing to destroy.”

This type of carry will always be a no-go for me...

I agree this would help...but in the gif I posted what I 'see' is he didn't lift the shirt to get the gun he reached for the gun and pulled it out and a WHOLE lot of shirt came out from underneath it.

No.. its the way I choose to carry. I think is the best but certainly not the only method.

- It is the way most all people train and have the most experience and muscle memory with.
- It is a method that should there be a ND, the chances of receiving a fatal self inflicted wound are slim.
- it is a method that offers the most flexibility and effectiveness with regard to weapons retention in a CQB situation.

Again, not the only method i could forsee;
- For a designated driver in a military/ LE / Exec Protection detail, a cross draw or vertical shoulder rig can be justified.
- Ankle or pocket carry of a back up to a service pistol for an LEO.
- Chest carry for hunters / hikers
- Chest carry on a carrier for military and LEO's

Gotcha. In that case, I agree with your original statement. Owning and carrying a gun is a lifestyle that people must adapt to. That includes carrying in a good quality holster and learning how to safely use it.
I've tried appendix carry a few times and it just wasn't comfortable. I don't see how I can carry AIWB without muzzling myself. Not sure if other people can. But it happened any time I sat down. I didn't like it.
Now I carry strong side IWB or I'll open carry if my clothes don't really allow for CC, mainly because I don't want to downgrade to a smaller gun.

To me, it didn't seem like the firearm wasn't holstered completely. I noticed that when he started to cover with his shirt, it appeared the pistol grip flexed to move outward. Is it possible that when he bent over the the pistol slipped into the holster under the stress and causing the trigger it engage?

Some of us have enough down there that its just impossible to not muzzle ourselves.....

This is my viewpoint as well. I see how most all of these new CCW'rs are all buying these super sub compact guns so they don't have to stop living in shorts and a T shirt and they are buying guns that cant shoot worth a damn even at contact distances.

The smallest pistol I will carry is a SiG P225/228 or a G19. I will occasionally carry a S&W642-2 when I want something really small that can fit into a pocket (and be fired from within a pocket).

He is wearing dark colored pants and it takes little longer than the video a while for the blood to run down the leg and soak the pants. Happily he apparently missed his femoral artery or the blood would have been everywhere. However, he may not be fathering any more children or pleasing his wife....
