Can we talk about the DOG?...reacts as if it's the first time the guy's gun goes off in the office THIS WEEK....seriously, hope the "operator" is OK. Between my eyesight and the video resolution, I can't form an opinion.

I'm still a noob, but even before seeing this have been scratching my head about appendix carry from both comfort and, ahem...proximity considerations...3-5 o'clock is where I'll expect I endup once I'm ready to start carrying (while in TN...but holding out hope for LA County on 6/5!).

Fake? No blood drips on white tile floor and the woman has gloves ready and seemed too calm, the old man just stands there like nothing is wrong.

I watched it and it looked staged to me. Everyone was standing around doing "something" but doing "nothing."
The girl is wearing gloves prior to ND.
The guy bends over for some unknown reason, assuming picking up something when the gun goes off.
He throws everything on floor haphazardly.
A request for 911 is calmy directed toward the female but redirected to the older guy
The girl immediately walks to a (assumed) trauma bag which just happens to be sitting open by the desk and immediately retrieves a tourniquet
But the biggie for me was what she said and how she said it. She either has medical training or it was a staged event.
We do scenarios all the time and that was the way it came off to me.
Or I am completely off base, which is entirely possible as well

Carrying a cocealed gun without an external safety is just foolish as there are many safer options out there.

Carrying a concealed gun without an external safety AIWB is beyond foolish.

Everyone thinks it won't happen to them until it does. I'm sure this guy thought carrying his Glock AIWB was perfectly safe.....until it wasn't.

I have appendix carried a glock for some six years now. Never had an issue. I have had the same soft holster from blackhawk the entire time. This is most likely from human error than the holster or gun.

The victim likely said the same thing.

I've read about Glocks being 'flexed' enough to release the sear. Is why I switched my carry piece to a CZ P-01.
