I like Turners. Never had a problem with taking a number and waiting my turn.

Me either. I went in to look at 1911's last week. Took a number, waited 10 minutes, looked at a couple. Counter guy offered to put it on layaway to lock in the sale price. Bought a couple boxes of 7.62 x 51, asked if they had any M1A mags. Second counter guy told where they had the last one. Paid for my stuff and left.

At the Oxnard store, this interaction would have taken well an hour. This is not an exaggeration.

Overall, had a great experience at Turners Norwalk on a Friday night for a p2p transaction. I dealt with Glen, who was very helpful and informative. Yes, the line is ridiculous, and alot of beginers visit these mainstream locations, which leads to the long waits, but i feel that overall Turners in Norwalk is overall A Ok and I wouldnt mind dealing with them again.

Turners customer service will never get better because their lousy service does not affect their sales.

Turners bottom line, which comes before their customer service, is MONEY !!!

Go ahead...complain....write a letter, call the manager. Turners, just like some other large businesses, accept (and have already figured in to their business plan), that most NOT all, of their sales folks, lack basic customer service skills.

One, two, ten pissed off customers a day means nothing to them as long as they sell X amount of guns, etc. a day to other 1st time customers. That's their normal, expected way of doing everyday business.

Turners could care less about you, me or any other customer.

Had a good recent experience at Reseda, happened late last year. I was looking a for a few different scopes and literally just wanted to look through a few they had, got good advice and a nice patient employee. Going when it's packed (after a scare, after work, weekends) is a horrible idea. I took my ticket and waited around 20 min. Be smart about when you go, they're obviously known for wait times, try going when it's less crowded.

10-130 on weekdays is a great time to stop by, of course we all work during those hours, I know..
