    Turners is getting worse

I waited an hour to get my number called but only after I had to remind the employees three times that we have numbers.

After waiting for about a half hour a guy showed up for a pick up and before I knew it he was being served and appeared to be a friend of the guy behind the counter. That pissed me off.

Then as I was contemplating buying a gun they started the process, collecting his license, etc, to sell a gun to someone who based on their speech and body movements, appeared to be retarded. The sales guy was the same that let his buddy skip to the front.

I made a conscious decision to not buy the gun.

As I was driving home I thought about writing to their corporate office but I feel it's better sharing this with the Calguns community. I've had bad experience there before but it's getting worse.

I have 4 other FFL's that I frequent that have always been great.

I did buy a gun today, and it was at one of these other FFL's.

    Good by turners!

Yea, the new store in Palmdale blows. I only give them my business when they have ammo cheap.
Turners does have decent ad pricing on firearms though. Think it's there bread and butter like big 5 shoe ads are the only thing keeping them in business . My .2

Yes. Turners sucks. It has for a looong time now.

Does not seem like they are trying to change anything either.

      Chain store run by morons.

I like Turners. Never had a problem with taking a number and waiting my turn.

The Turners in El Cajon has been just fine for me. Yeah, you sometimes have to wait your turn.

I hate turners for the most part.

I saw a consignment gun at a good price last week at Turners Corona.. I showed up on a a Sunday morning 30 minutes before they open like I would have to at the one in Pasadena. At 10am I was the only customer and was in and out ASAP. They were friendly and helpful. I was shocked based on my experiences at other turners.

Don't go during the weekends. I have never broke this rule and it has always served in my favor.

Signal hill is one of the exceptions. The manager is a gun guy who emphasizes on CS

Write a letter to the manager of the store. Make sure you let them know you bought a gun elsewhere. Otherwise, they have no idea.

At least they don't buzz you in and out of the front door like an inmate, at their whim

bummer, i dont blame ya for bein pissed. myself ive adapted to turners. it is a brand new store but its a store that sells handguns in salinas again so im happy. i am retired and i learned real quick to not be in any hurry if im goin to turners. i saw a brand new employee there yesterday that didnt know what a ruger 10/22 was. but there are also very knowledgeable folks working there also. and ive seen them lower prices on stuff for customers also. i agree the process to buy a gun seems long winded but try buying one at basspro in san jose, lol. and op, i would report it to corporate.

I went in to get scope rings for my A-Bolt. Brought the 30-.06 in, in a case, bolt open, checked in at the front counter like their signage says to do and before I say a word they say, "is that a gun?" like it was the first time they'd never seen one before. I was quickly surrounded by three employees (best cust srvc I've ever had there! [emoji12]) and handed it over to them, then took a number, waited for an hour and they didn't have the size I needed. 🖒I wish I knew what size I needed so I could just buy online.
