    .
    They are ok to use.
Search around the other auction sites as well.
Normally see them for around $100.

Most of the certificates are for new students only.

Certain Front Sight membership levels get these certificates (in order to introduce other people to Front Sight) and some people sell them off on the auction sites.

+1 million. I stay at the Best Western or camp on the BLM land these days. It's been years since I stayed at the Saddle West. The last time I had the distinct feeling that the maid stood outside my window blowing smoke into the air vent. There didn't seem to be much difference between smoking and non-smoking rooms IMO. Maybe its changed since then..........

I've taken the 4 day course a number of times with different rifles. Most people can do just fine with iron sights. I took my first 4 day using iron sights. Subsequent courses followed using my AR equipped ACOG TA01. You'll have an advantage with the ACOG at the 200. I DG'd with the ACOG so being biased i'd say use it if you got it.

Front Sight seemed perfectly OK with the certs, as already said they are provided to 'members' as an incentive. Be aware that most of the certs (the grey ones) can only be used for your first class. The blue ones (when available) sell for $400 or more and are good for any class and returning students.

Prices have gone up $80 or so since I bought mine in January! Ebay seller "ukywyldcat" is good to deal with, and provides a very handy 10 or so page guide with some very useful information.

+1. The color scheme may have changed over the years as I thought it was different, but the point is that before you stock up on a bunch of them you need to make sure you are not buying a bunch of certs that are only good for First Time Students if you are planning on taking a bunch of different courses yourself.

I have 2 white certificates awarded as a special incentive a couple years back. They are good for any course (if I remember correctly), and return students, but I do not think they are transferrable.

If you have never been to Front Sight, you are gonna love it. It is like Disney Land for Gun Owners.
