Don't worry, my firearms are in a safe and all my ammo is locked up just like you and the rest of the libtards have mandated.
I love how you think I'm hispanic (I'm not). You are talking about the "overall picture" which is to say, entirely out of your ***. To make it clear, what you said is just simply wrong, and if you did even a tiny amount of research on the subject, you'd realize that. Your Australia number is also completely wrong.

You are making a basic logical error in suggesting that those numbers have anything to do with the question at hand. You have to compare suicides within the same cultures to have an idea of the affect of access to firearms. Contra to what the poster above suggested, suicides went way down in Australia. There are huge amounts of data on this. It's up to you if you want to remain ignorant or not.

I wish people would use incidents such as these to discuss mental health instead of throwing around unwarranted insults.

          Or, simply in denial.

"How dare anyone say anything negative about guns!"

Ok, I'm game. Cite a source that isn't a liberal media site with an agenda.

Here's mine. While I wasn't exactly correct, I still don't see those HUGE numbers you're talking about.

I suspect everyone has seen this line of thinking before. It's not valid reasoning. Correlation does not imply causality. Maybe men use guns because they are more determined to die, for example. There's no evidence to show that availability of guns determines the suicide rate. There are studies that show the opposite. People have studied the suicide rate in Canada near the US border, and just across the border in the US, and found little difference in the death rate, even though guns were use much less frequently in Canada. John Lott goes into a lot of statistics like this in his books.

Do your homework before calling someone ignorant. Did you not see what I posted for the EU earlier? Currently, Australia is 10.2 per 100k, below the US and Europe. Seem negligible and on par with developed "Western/European" cultures with or without a 2A lifestyle. Furthermore, I heard in the news that it is climbing up again in Australia.

Yes... but JAPAN has the HIGHEST suicide rate and almost NO guns in the public's hands. So.... It may raise the rate where guns are available, but WILL NOT lower the overall suicide rate if guns are completely removed.

His next argument is going to be something like .......1-2% is astronomical and saving even 1 life is worth it.

What? 3 bucks a pop will motivate you to be damn accurate at that Asia range.

                                Yup.

Prayers for the employees who had to see the aftermath.

I have always had positive dealing at OC Indoor range.... : good place for ppts, for gunbroker or out of state transfers, no problem to shoot aluminum ammo, ccw and beginner classes etc.
