All the serious operators of calguns always have something negative to say about anything and everything.

i got tired of nutn fancy's overly long videos, even hickock45 is becoming too much. sootch00, the firearm guy, and miller guns and gear are knowledgeable and succinct, with more shooting than yakking.

I highly doubt that and some of us have shot firearms that he could only dream of shooing. That's not hating that's fact.

I am not hating on his videos. They are ok. I haven't seen one in a couple years. I honestly thought he passed away.

I usually play NF videos when I need background noise to grade papers. While I appreciate his opinion on many things, he at times acts as if his opinion is the final word. A perfect example is when he said the Mossberg 590 sucked, and chided Mossberg for it because the one he used malfunctioned. It would suck to have a malfunctioning rifle when in dire need, but not every single firearm/part will be 100% perfect.

I just think he is too full of himself at times. As a former grunt I don't know everything about everything, but when he talks abut combat I always cringe and want to stop listening. I get that pounds equal pain, especially when on patrol, but most of the time in combat we were carrying so much crap an extra ounce isn't even noticed.

He can seem full of himself. Like I said, I like his videos and the practical reviewing of guns, but there was a vid awhile back about him inviting people to shoot with him.

He was angry because the people who volunteered to go shoot with him couldnt name the last few videos he had posted and what they were about. Like he really expects people to sit and watch every 50 minute and recall what they were about and when they were posted. Cmon lol

Umm applying his gear to something. The dude is pretty much training. Yes it looks fun from this side but its training. As a person who did military training for multiple missions and no Im not SF in an way but we trained a lot of ways and some the same ways he does. That trench warfare thing looks super dope and interesting way to train.

I don't think the IDPA matches I shoot are real life, or training, but that sounds like what you describe.

Dude, IDPA International Defense Pistol Association. You literally learn how to see a target and shoot at it fast. That training! That what people who shoot other people for a living do as training! See, Shoot, Move.

The military doesn't even get to shoot as much as the USPSA guys I shoot with. And their locals. I am willing to put money down that a regular IDPA shooter can outshot and out maneuver an average military personnel. No disrespect to our men/women in uniform.

Absolutely, I'd wager most SASS guys could run through a military qual course with ease and 150 years old weapons.

I'm a much better shooter today than I was when I was in.
