I like his stuff alot. Problem is his videos are way too long lol.

No one has 50 minutes to just sit and watch a video.

They get me through an hour long exercise.

Forgotten Weapons is my current favorite. Ian has a great delivery, is knowledgeable, and shows some weird oddball stuff that's fun to look at.

I also like FortuneCookie45LC, his casting vids are a great resource.

Nutnfancy is not particularly knowledgeable about shooting or gear, but he thinks he is. There isn't any reason why a former Air Force cargo pilot who shoots in desert washes with his son would have any insight into shooting, tactics or gear. His target audience are people who are even less knowledgeable.

it's like telling Eugene Stoner his aviation ordinance background is not related to gun designs therefore he has no say in gun design....you do know there are a lot of civilians that contributed to war efforts that are smarter than the people from within right? YouTube demonetized all the gun channels ( surprise surprise) and many have started Patreon accounts.

Have they? Cause I still see Ads before the videos start on nutnfancy and sootch00 channel.

How so? He does have some good info on a couple of subjects. Yes he can drown on and on about things but he shoots a weapon and give his honest opinion. Unlike some gun peeps that lie about there service or just straight out shill. I have no problems with shill cause I watch Sootch but still NF aint one of them.

His info is not good. He really needs to take training classes from respected instructors instead of running around in desert washes.

Read what I said. A "a couple of subject" is not a couple of videos. Also he stats HIS opinion just like instructors. Plenty of people hear bag on "Tactical Response" and he's a cert'ed instructor. Oh, how about Coy and Erica from that one channel? They where instructors are well. Just cause a dude is doing his thing on YT doesn't mean he doesn't know anything.

Nah, for these guys who needs credentials, they watch youtube channels where the host is at least a 20 tour vet. has 1k confirmed kills and is tact'd out for their opinion to be valid.

That's a matter of opinion YET AGAIN. Im sure there are some that think that TR is out dated or whatever. Also he's using the gear in real life and not in a training environment. So yeah he will know a little something about it plus he was in the military even further training and knowledge.

I am willing to bet that a guy who runs around the dessert spending days and weeks touching all different types of weapons has more valid opinion than a guy who touches 1 gun at a carbine class.

There is a ffl who was in the SWAT. All he sold was YHM brand. I asked if he carried other brands and he said there is no other brand that is better than YHM. This guy manufactures guns for special forces and L.E....i guess it's a valid opinion.

I like nutnfancy videos, he brings a fresh and different perspective to firearms and their use the other channels on Youtube that I subscribe to does not.

While I subscribe to many channels, most of them put on a show that is more like an advertisement for a particular firearm. They'll show you how nicely it shoots and show you how they hit targets, but will never discuss its downside or just touch on it very vaguely.

Nutnfancy and to a slightly lesser extend, Military Arms Channel, are the only 2 on my subscription list that will talk about what they do not like about a particular gun. Nutnfancy will also go into things such as size and weight considerations and ammo cost etc. There is also a video where he and a buddy put on gears and ran a mile to show you how difficult it is to do so.

Another aspect of his videos I like is that he involve his family and friends. To me, this is more realistic, showing how the American way of life with firearms as it should be. In some of his videos, you'll see Tactical Toddle, his wife and some of his friends/viewers. They'll be biking, hiking, camping, fooling around in the desert or motoring around in a rubber dinghy in the ocean. It shows the viewer life need not only be about guns, but guns can certainly be part of your normal family life.
