While i dont take nutnfancy seriously, its fun to see that gradual evolution over time from years ago to where he is today. He seems a bit jaded, which in all truth, i certainly can relate to.

Hickok spent 10 years as a LEO before becoming a middle school English teacher. He was one of those teachers that connected with the kids by dressing up to match what ever book he was covering and using his dad humor.
While dressing up as a cowboy to cover the novel Shane, his students encouraged him to do YouTube videos about guns. He was not tech literate, but his son was, so his son did the filming. His son is very quiet and shy but recently has started to join his dad in the videos and they do a weekly podcast (or radio show?) together.
He does not do it for the money. He has turned down many offers to commercialize his videos. He wants them out on the net free for all to see.
His former students say he does the videos the way he taught. Supposedly, he is most popular with the younger crowd and new shooters. He just want to teach a little about firearms safety, show off some cool guns, and have fun. He has all the money he needs.
You can read more about him here. https://www.everipedia.com/gregkinman3/
I picked up a lot about him from watching his videos and reading about him on blogs about Pro-2A teachers.Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.
A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.
Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

He gets free ammo from Federal, so the youtube money isn't going there. He also does plugs for Buds, and SDI, so he's getting sponsor money from them on the side I'm sure.
I like Hickok, MAC, TwangNBang, Buffalo, 22Plinkster, Iraqvet88, Gunblast, and Chris BartocciLast edited by dyson; 06-19-2017, 7:35 PM.Comment

I like hickok45. He has fun shooting, doesn't take it to seriously and admits when he doesn't know much about a particular firearm. Mr. guns and gear also gets my thumbs up. He seems to know his stuff, gets to the point and keeps his videos under 30 minutes. Nutinfancy runs a little long for me. He throws in some good nuggets but you have to sit and watch the entire review. Oh ya, I like old sooch00.Comment

Not disagreeing on the premise, but that's pretty harsh, putting his career and hobby down at the same time.Originally posted by HopetonBrownNutnfancy is not particularly knowledgeable about shooting or gear, but he thinks he is. There isn't any reason why a former Air Force cargo pilot who shoots in desert washes with his son would have any insight into shooting, tactics or gear. His target audience are people who are even less knowledgeable.
He does camping and knife videos quite well, and he's surely a great pilot.
His gun reviews are regular youtube affair, they all suck, just time killers.Comment

Doubt YouTube is his only source of income I'm sure he's doing just fine....Comment

MAC, Hickock45, MrGuns&Gear, Lucky Gunner, Polenar Tactical, and Sootch00
are my favourite gun channels. They offer great info, entertainment and personality in a time frame that works.
Nut'n takes a long time to get to the point and digresses a lot. I'll still watch his videos every once in a while as I enjoy his perspective on a lot of things and is generally a sensible "prepper".My rights aren't yours to vote away.Comment

I like both of them, seem like good guys and both are informative-
don't watch them a lot just once in a while- the nut does drone on a bit lolComment

i have 2 people on my "cant stand that guy" list. him and that loud mouth tool from tactical response.
dude is talking about how great the rifle is and you can clearly see the action on the one he is shooting is rougher then a mosin.....
favorite gun channel is forgotten weapons and INrangeTV. those guys have real class, soon as YouTube started playing funny they protested by demonetizing all their videos. dude got to handle one of the only Pancor Jackhammers in existence, and fire a Walther wa2000.Last edited by mossy; 06-20-2017, 3:04 AM.best troll thread in calguns history
