Sadly, when it comes to retail, a yelp post has more influence than a conversation face to face nowadays

I agree that was a pretty bonehead move by GFOS. My first thought was that maybe the folks in charge of things that get stuck on the wall just didn't know what the commie groups were, but then I read the flyers, and even w/o taking 40 seconds to look them up on your phone it's pretty obvious.

I also agree that even if they just tell you to eff off, you still should've mentioned it to the management. It's always possible that some random employee or smooth-talking red off the street put the flyers up w/o TFICOTTGSOTW knowing about it. That's the main reason I'd bring it up, not that a macho face-to-face about losing one person's business would do more than a yelp post.

Again, I'm baffled as to why you think I owe the guy who runs this store anything. He's not my friend, we're not engaged in manly combat on the field of honor, and we're not going out to have a duel over the hand of a fair maiden. The idea that I'm somehow obligated to go have a heartfelt man-to-man with him over this is frankly kind of a head-scratcher as far as I'm concerned, and seems to come from a puzzling and unwarranted attitude of entitlement.

Old enough that I can say without exaggeration that I once watched Johnny Carson the night before I got on a Pan Am flight to the Soviet Union.

I ended up buying the AR-7 at Dick's (yeah, I know, but they had one in stock and they don't vocally support Antifa) and the Mini-14 at Antioch Armory.
