No, but I typically bring one firearm to the range and focus on my improvement with that particular gun. I also recently started scoring myself with NRA highpower targets and keeping records of points scored, shooting position, weather conditions and load.

Edit: and this saying reminds me of something Bruce Lee said, "do not fear the man who has practiced 1,000 kicks one time, fear the man who has practiced one kick 1,000 times"

And I absolutely believe this is integral to any skill. I used to compete in submission grappling tournaments, and while I knew some pretty fancy techniques 90% of the time if I submitted an opponent in competition it was with an armbar or rear naked choke.

I'm also reminded of my grandfather competing in SASS and cowboy action. He could run a double barrel coach gun faster than most people could run a pump gun. He and those cowboy guys were masters of what we would consider outdated tech and impressively made it work.

        ^^This, more or less.

I train hard every month with my EDC's and use them in a class every year so an instructor can watch me for bad habits creeping in.

Aside from that I usually will focus on one rifle (Currently my Winchester 30-30) until I am happy with my results.

Everything else I shoot just for fun. I rotate thru the safe and bring a different gun along each range trip just to shoot 100 rds of fun. Nice treat after an hour or so of concentrated training to just shoot for fun.

Different firearms have different purposes. I know exactly what I would keep if I only wanted 2, a glock 19 and remington 870. But a shield conceals better than a 19, some firearms have sentimental value, you might need a rifle, etc. I envy those that can do it. I cant.

Guns are relatively small to store and most of them seem to hold their value if not increase in value. I buy what I want and sell what I don't want. I don't really lose any money, sometimes I turn a profit and enjoy it as a hobby. I do the same with motorcycles and guitars.

That old Chestnut about beware the guy with one gun may have been true back in the day but nowadays, the man who owns one gun probably bought it after some riot or terrorist event then stuffed it in the bottom of his underwear drawer.

depending on the gun some people must have either really big underwear or alot of underwear.

I think Gun Owners fall into 3 main categories (with some minor sub categories)

                        1. Basic Protection - Has maybe one or two. A Handgun and a shotgun. Probably doesn't train too much. Guns are not a big part of their lives.
                        2. Gun Enthusiast - Has dozens or more of all types. Enjoys collecting and shooting and hanging out with other Gun Enthusiasts. Guns a are a BIG part o their lives.
                        3. Preppers - Started with a couple and now has a dozen or so. Trains once in awhile and has duplicates of some. Guns are a tool with a bunch of other tools.

I'm a number #3. I have 8 handguns and 5 rifles (most are 2 or 3 of each). My wife thinks that is a lot, some here would say it's a starter kit.

If I had to leave the house with only two, I would take a VP9 and my AR leaving the shotguns, the .357s, and the .22s behind. (Wish I could take the lever .357 and the 870)

Im 3 and then 2. I love the way some guns look. Almost art to me but I don't have a nice place to display it. All my current stock fits different reasons for having other then looks. Sometimes though....I just want to sell it all away.

                            Idk, I own a G19, and I've often thought of buying a G23 and a G32, but I just don't see the point sometimes.

These "what if" questions seem to be posted quite often. I personally don't understand the reason the thread starters pose the questions in the first place. Of course we could all get along with only one, two or three firearms, but how stupidly boring would that be?

I like having a variety of different weapons to chose from. Some I shoot all the time, some I seldom shoot and others I have never shot at all. Life is far too short to limit yourself and I, for one, will always continue to explore the enjoyment that having more than one or two guns gives me.

In a minimalist setup, you only need 4 guns to do most things:

                                A 22LR rifle.
                                A centerfire rifle.
                                A shotgun.
                                A handgun.

The problem is varied interests. I like 1911s, so I have a couple. I like old military rifles, so I have a few of them. 10/22s are fun to configure, who can own just one? A shotgun for HD. Leverguns are neat to have. Add in a couple of ARs, a Saiga or two to shoot cheap x39, a 308 MBR...

...and before you know it, you have a bunch of guns.
