No one ever asked for proof of DOJ registration for my Pre Ban AKs (pre 89 Roberti Roos) at any range or BLM land in California while living there..Even at the old Lytle Creek Cartel Wanabe Training Facility.

Maybe somebody can give Rodger the Range Cop a citation book.
He will have a good time issuing warnings to everyone that has a shoulder thing that goes up...

Keep in mind Gun Ranges have to carry liability insurance. In doing so, they have to comply with all laws, including all new ones coming up. If something happens involving an illegal weapon, insurance coverage may be lost if the insurance company feels the Range and/or Range staff are not complying with new or existing laws and this can lead to legal and financial disaster for the Gun Range.

I'm the Secretary to the Board of Directors at my local outdoor gun range. These are the types of things we have to keep up with.

As such, we will be requiring our Members to bring CA compliant guns and magazines as each new law takes effect. Our Club is a private/Members only Club, but that doesn't make much difference. We still have to follow suit with current CA laws.
