What to write on my paper?

Hello, I have to write a research paper for my college US History class. I can pick any event in US history after 1877 and I am supposed to research the topic and pick apart the articles that I found.

I have absolutely no idea of what I want to write, any ideas?

Start looking at presidential elections and the rise of the progressive movement and how it compares/relates to the most recent election.

Wow, that's amazing how Al Franken caused the 2008 housing crisis when he wasn't even sworn in as a US Senator until July 7, 2009. Are you saying he has a time machine, and after he became a US Senator he went back in time before 2008 so he could cause the housing crisis?

And the law you referred to was Dodd-Frank, not Franken, named after Sen. Christopher Dodd and Rep. Barney Frank, who is not the same person as Sen. Al Franken.
