I hear you on the eyes getting older part, and my hands are not quite as steady as when I was 19 either. It's still fun, I enjoy the self improving aspect of it. It's also the only fun thing I enjoy in SoCal.

Shooting since 1961 used to do every weekend and hunt as well. Haven't done much of either in the last 15 years mainly due to life in general and not having anywhere near a decent range or area to go.

I have a bunch of guns I have never even shot. But then I also have a few I have shot a lot, these are the ones I take to classes all the time. The others are just bought for bragging rights LOL

The only problem with that is, unlike in SoCal, there are many days here when you simply do not want to be outside shooting.
If and when you do, be sure to let me know. If you have them on weekends, I'll come down the hill. We need to have a Calguns expat club up here.

I go to the range once a month. However I've only been shooting my PTR 91 and Sig 226 lately. Everything else is collecting dust...

I hunt quite a bit from August through the end of January, but that doesn't necessarily mean I shoot a whole lot. For deer and pig hunting, a box of ammo will last me a couple of years. I probably shoot 200 shotgun shells per year while hunting.

For target shooting, I probably shoot 5 or fewer rounds of trap or skeet per year on average. The last few years I've probably been shooting 500 rifle and pistol rounds annually. It's weak, I know, but with little kids, a stay at home wife, and no extra money, it's really hard to justify spending $200 that I don't have on a hobby. Now that .22 LR is easier to find, I plan on taking the Mark II out more often. I can afford a brick of .22 a month.

I shoot once a week. When Coyote Point reopens I will shoot twice a week. I shoot paper for accuracy. My goal is to put every bullet through the same hole. When I achieve my goal, you will hear about it. According to quantum mechanics, that should be in just about forever.

I shoot once a week normally, twice a week if Im busy. I have the ability to shoot very close to my home up here in the sticks, so it makes it easier.

I don't like being in SoCal, or any part of CA for that matter but there is a range nearby and I do go punch paper 1 or 2 times a week, probably 300 to 500 rounds per visit. I mostly shoot pistols at practical distances with some 25m rimfire rifle mixed in.

I miss being able to just drive over to the gravel pit and set up some targets at 100m+ and just do informal shooting, but the range is OK.

I shoot at least one more round a month than you do.

For a year, I used to go M-F during my lunch break when I worked up a street from an indoor range. Shot 50 rounds of centerfire and 100 rounds of rimfire each trip.

After I switched jobs, I'm down to just twice a month. Been going to Angeles Ranges lately to shoot rifles. 150 rounds of centerfire and 200 rounds of rimfire.

Hunting and shooting depends on the time of year. I usually take advantage of dove seasons, and shoot clays a few times a year. I shoot varmint and targets with rifles throughout the year and shoot pistols about once a month.

As of November I haven't done any shooting as I am studying for the state Bar exam in February and it occupies most of my time.

I went today. New pew pew is running like a Swiss watch.

                              Couple times a month.

I shoot USPSA twice a month. I try to hit the range once a week, as for ammo I shoot a bunch sometimes a bunch more than other weeks.
