    Froglube Sucks!

So I've been using Froglube over the last few months on all my guns, and haven't been too impressed.

First, it doesn't seem to keep things moving as smooth as regular gun oils and even the old WD-40.

Second, one of my 1911's sat for over a month with no use after applying the Froglube. Went to use it today and it's literally gummed up and useless.

I'll be tearing all my guns down, cleaning the Froglube off, then going back to basic Rem Oil as I had before.

Nothing worse than buying a gun PPT then finding out the previous owner used froglube. It takes a couple hours to detail strip and remove that sticky goop.

On the outside is fine as a protectant. Stopped using it on the inside when it gummed up one of my ARs.

Oil is best, it's 100% oil, it's what mechanical things need.
Grease is about 80% oil with stabilizers, ok but not as good as oil.
Frog lube is likely 60% or less oil, probably not so good.

Have you not been paying attention for the last year where everybody has been crapping all over it for exactly that reason?

Froglube is awesome. You are supposed to put it between the slice of bread and jelly. It works roughly the same way as peanut butter...

On a more serious note, this is a known issue that you need to research on your own. There is quite a bit of info out there.

Can't believe anyone still uses that stuff. 999 threads here about it turning everything to gluey gum. Yes, 1 person liked it but he's never been hear from since

Don't forget that gun show guy who eats spoonfulls of it at the show to demonstrate that it's the ideal firearm lubricant. Because edibility is something I look for in firearm lubes.
