I dont remember the name but it said jewlery in the name wanted $50 for a dros. We went to smoking barrel firearms...I wish I was local to Visalia they are awesome. But my ffl here is awesome as well

Enough ****ing around with these assclowns. Contact the Bureau of Firearms. Then contact the ATF and see what they say. Then contact the county and or city that gave them their business permit. Then see if they are listed with BBB if so file a complaint. Then give them a Yelp review. They are counting on you doing what they say and just moving along.

Lol the ATF has nothing to do with CA regulations. Also the BBB is a joke, does anyone even bother woth it anymore?

You've already called them out here and on facebook, leave them a crap yelp review and call the DOJ.

Why would you do a chargeback? The OP accepted the price, agreed to their terms and conditions and proceeded with their service? OP was free to walk away at anytime.

They didn't word it correctly, but other shops charge more all the time. All they need to do is rename it a processing fee or storage fee. Wouldn't call it scummy or anything yet without hearing the other side, maybe they need to pay for some extra safes or something due to the influx of transfers and what not. I call it a hallmark of a shop that's not really business oriented and looking in the wrong places to make a few extra bucks.

I have never seen Turner's apply their $5 handling fee to a PPT. they charge $25 in state DROS fees + their $10 PPT fee. The $5 handling fee is only for normal sales transfers.

35 is max on a face to face PPT. Pick up your gun and report them to the CADOJ.
