Cancel your dros and resubmit. Happened to me once. Waited thirty days. Went undetermined. Went to a different store and it went through fine.

why would he want to cancel now? as long as his FFL is willing to release on "undetermined", he should be getting his undetermined today or in the next day or so.

why start over and potentially have to wait another 30-days when he could have it this weekend.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

            cool.

now, the next time you DROS something, it may go through normal and you get to pick up in 10-days, or it may be delayed again.

my FFL has a customer who has bought 20+ firearms from him and is delayed each and every time his DROSes. they do the DROS with the understanding that it is going to be 30-days before he can pick up. when he picks up, he starts the next DROS and they repeat the process.

I had a delay or a hold. Yet it was a different situation. It was an HK MR556 lower. The lower had a full auto trigger assembly. HK makes their rifles with a full auto hammer and trigger assembly but machined for semi auto. The FFL wanted DOJ to review. They did. Took pictures and lots of questions, then sat. Finally after a month, the said weapon is released and can be DROS'd. California agreed that the weapon was a semi auto. I was a little concerned. I really didn't know HK made their weapons like that. HK confirmed it and stated even though it is military grade, it is machined for semi auto. California agreed with HK. I suppose the CA DOJ techs actually know how weapons function. It did take over a month.

Yeah, completely different. At least you knew why. I never knew on mine.
