    Okay.
You're a retard if you walk, run, skip, cartwheel, jog, meander, etc. towards gunfire you think is coming your way to ask anyone anything in any tone of voice.

I've found, through observing the induced misfortune and misadventure of others, that avoiding people shooting at me to be a sound decision 100% of the time. I do remember some training about bounding, I'm up, he sees me, I'm down, and covering fire, but that seems to be socially unacceptable on this continent.

Point taken. But I think we can't have all the nice things is because of what happened in other states mostly.

People tend to get emotional when they hear/feel bullets whizzing by their head.

Me personally, I would have fired back.

... for the same reason some people feel compelled to shoot into "anywhere." Drunk, stupid, ignorant, mental or maybe even just a bit criminal and arrogant. Thank god they're only a teeny fraction of gun owners in this country.

Unfortunately, these gun owners are the ones who make life difficult for the rest of us.

And this guy may have had enough. Though I find many cyclists truly annoying, I don't think we should plow into groups of them.

Gawd, those brakes. Someone needs some resin brake pads. I use a Hill People chest rig when I ride.

great attitude. intolerance for gun owners comes from the same spot in the brain.

We see it all the time when we are out horse riding. People shooting at targets with no backstop and trails directly in their line of fire.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

                        thats gotta suck.

we dont need new laws to control this. just better education. man, its not hard to realize bullets can travel miles.

I wouldnt even think that a tree line is a safe backstop.

Irresponsible shooter. The riders might want to take an airhorn with them next time and blow it when they hear gunfire. That'll get their attention.

What we need are nicer, cheaper, local county shooting facilities so people have a place to go. In Washington, there aren't that many places to shoot.

what would be great is to have assigned, but not required, shooting spots.

what would it take, 3 days with a dozer?

Big Bear has these, although they're closed for fire season.
