Petaluma Wally, some .40, .45, .22, lots of rifle cartridges with the exception of any .223/556 or .308, lots of steel shot 12ga. I bought the last box of .223, a 40-rnd "Value Pack" of 45-grn JHP @ 3600fps and let me tell you, it weren't no value at all plus the box was bashed like it had done a world-wide tour and had half a roll of tape to hold it together........

The Mountain View Walmart is very well stocked...with toilet paper. I avoided checking the ammo supply because if they did anything I'd wind up buying it all.

Not only are the ammo shelves bare but I'm noticing other regular stock items disappearing as well. And instead of the normal 12 checkout stands, only 4 were open today.

Is this a sign of the end of the world's largest retailer?

Heh.. just got back from Walmart on Aero Drive here in San Diego.

Nothing left by some .17 HMR and a couple boxes of .25 and .44 mag.

Magically, there were 18 boxes of .40S&W left.. I planned to buy them all, but there was another guy there before me who took 10 of them, so I only got 8

Walmart on Clairemont Mesa in San Diego had 1 box of Blazer .45 and 1 box of Blazer 9mm on the shelves. I asked the clerk if they just got a new shipment in and he said no, the 2 boxes were just hidden in the stock room somewhere. I picked up the 9mm box

which includes the Pomona store;has a ban on ammo. I checked the Chino Hills store which is down the street from Walmart in Pomona, and their shelves are almost bare.

WM wants to sell whatever they can make a buck at. If they could get more ammo, they would.
