Will the buffer and spring that came with my BCM mid length rifle work, or do I have to purchase a different spring and buffer? Thanks in advanced
    It will work.

I like the Hammerhead/fixed Magpul stock setup. Simple, and you can get your thumb over the top of the HH, which makes it easier to use imho. Plus it doesn't look that bad. As sent, it's a bit short, but is very usable with the extended butpad. This is a photo from Exile's website

Can't believe I'm asking this, but what is the length of the Magpul fixed stock? From what I read the length of an A2 stock, my first consideration, might be too long...

Don't know about the standard Magpul stock. My Magpul MOE fixed carbine stock, like the one above, with a 3/4" buttpad, is 9.25" from the end-plate to the end of the stock.

Does anyone know the difference in length of A1 vs. A2? Compared to an MOE adjustable at its longest?

Thanks for this as I was thinking about this today. I use all of my adjustables all the way out as that is the most comfortable for me.

A2.......leaves a lot of options. Not super weird either. Also the ACE Skeleton is very cool.

                            No.
The magpul fixed RIFLE stock is the same as an A2.
I believe the fixed carbine stock has a LOP of 12".

Thanks for the clarification. I'll probably go with the Magpul fixed carbine stock since I've got T-Rex arms...

I only saw a couple of magpul fixed stocks for sale at the gun show. Most were adjustable and no one was buying those. If you mount the Magpul 1/2" rubber end pad, it will extend it.
