    Hah. I scratched the hell out of my XD slide on none other than those little bronze rivets on my Levis. I was using the XD gear holster so it was exposed.
    It was just an old plywood boat, with a '75 Johnson, with electric choke. A young boy, two hands on the wheel, I can't replace the way it made me feel.

      I've used both Aluminum Black and a black Sharpie to cover small scratches. That one needs to be covered because aluminum does oxidize over time. Looks like there is a gouge.
