Gun ranges during the Superbowl: packed or empty?

I haven't watched the superbowl live in about 15 years.

I find many businesses are dead and empty (Sea World, for instance) during the game. Great time to do something that would normally involve crowds.

Some buseinsses, however (museums, observatories, and other nerdy things) are PACKED as people who don't like football go do nerdy things as a form of protest.

How about gun ranges? Do they tend to be packed or dead?

I've written up my ongoing adventures as I learn to hunt.

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.

I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.

I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.

I don't know. There's a gun show this weekend, and I hope it's empty on Sunday.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

I do not know if it will be empty, but I am sure there will be much less of a crowd.

I went to the range with my brother during the last Super Bowl and the place was pretty much empty.

Livermore is usually quiet. Was a good Sunday to work.

Locally i can say that the ranges are vacant during games, I'd expect even mores during the SB.

                        They might even be closed.

I've been shooting at ranges here locally on S Bowl sunday. Often they get quiet right about game time, perfect for me. I often use S. Bowl for fishing, shooting days. Game starts early evening anyway, people are idiots.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

Last year I went to the monthly IDPA match thinking it would be great because attendance would be low.
Not so much. Match attendance was maxed out.

I expect the same this sunday. I will be going to the match. The Super Bowl is so damn over-hyped anyway, unless you are a hard core football fan it is kind of a letdown.
Putting ~100 rds downrange at a match is much more satisfying.
