I drive a Cadillac and two vintage Mustangs.

Unlike most government agencies I do not farm my safety out to the lowest bidder so most of my firearms collection is American made. I will confess to owning a G42.

Wife is about a WASP as you can get.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

Glock's are made both in Austria and the U.S., we can only purchase the Austrian made ones in Kalipornya.

I love my European hand guns. Look at the Makarov family. Solid, built like a tank, easy to maintain, great for carry and goes bang every time. Plus when they were around $200, it was hard to resist not getting one or more.

Don’t get me wrong. I do own US made handguns and love them as well. But I rarely buy anything new. The only new handguns I ever bought were my Springfield 1911 and GSG 1911.

Even around here the USA made Glocks are very rare. Pretty much all of them have Austria on the slide. I have seen a gen 3 Glock 19 with USA on the slide a little while back. But haven't seen another since.

How sad that buying American is looked down upon.
Yes, I do buy foreign stuff all the time. Some times foreign is all that is available. And, yes, some American stuff is crap.
BUT, if I can find comparable quality in a American made product, I will buy it and even pay a little more. Some times American is lower priced.
There are a lot of interesting ideas about foreign products. A friend tells a story of sitting in a bar in Amsterdam and seeing a couple of local yuppsters drinking Budweiser beer at imported prices because they thought they were "cool".
A coworker bought a ugly azz POS Saab car because the women at his wife's gym liked them.
So, buy what you want and don't believe all the bs out there.

I like all firearms foreign & domestic, own lot's of American made firearms as I do foreign made.
It's not about some perceived patriotism but the love of guns.

A lot of the fruits, veggies, and flowers are from south of the equator in the winter.

Some frozen veggie's and canned tuna are coming in from China. I'm not a big China fan to begin with, and definitely do not want to eat anything from there. Always check the package, even American name brands.

Understood, I have two U.S. Made SIG 1911's. Not unusual, but it tickles me that they are.

i buy for quality and the value (ie bang for buck), not nationalism.
I agree with this. I do own a few American made firearms as well as some foreign made stuff, including my 2 cars, Samsung tv, Apple iPhone etc. The way I see it, if American manufacturers can't produce a product worth buying then they should be out of business. That's how America is supposed to work. No more of this stupid "buyout" crap that shouldn't have even happened. Make a better product or get out.

I am an American, born and raised. I buy American every chance I get. However, this crazy state is making it harder with the shrinking gun roster. Let's see what happens to Colt.

Because Colts are over priced - S&W are trash - Ruger look like **** unless you like that early 80's look.
