If you are buying a new gun. Must you be as bought as our gov and get something made overseas? Do you doubt the skill of your countrymen or yourself?

Not everyone, but to some, it's more about cutting cost and with that, goes quality. I don't see that nearly as much in other countries. IMO.

Bersa Firestorm. $300, accurate, and reliable. That's why.

        1937 Policeman's service pistol. S&W M&P in .38sp.

Got it for 6oz of silver. VERY accurate, outstanding craftsmanship, near mint condition. reliable. Wouldn't have bought it if it were new (per se), Too expensive.

Had an XD, sold it. Awful handgun for me, the ergonomics just didn't work.
Hi point-my step father has one. I wouldn't spend my money on one.

I agree with you. Everyone should build a AR pistol.

Yeah I can spend $1,000 on a colt that is so-so in quality or I can buy a glock for 40% less with the same quality.

Furthermore, what IS more American? Paying more money and getting less due to nationalism? How about paying a fair price for what we expect?
lol, what do you want to bet that the op works a union job?

It's not my fault I can't buy a USA made glock. Talk to the Democratic leaders why.

its simple, they don't make the weapon I want to shoot, I do have a Ruger rifle and a Henry that are US made I think, who knows anymore.

Just like my cars, one is a GM (my truck for work) but my other 2 cars foreign, the US automakers don't make a car I want to drive.
