In reality, if you are being serious, as one person clearing this house you are screwed. But if you truly had to do it, it will be difficult and you need to move quickly. I'm on my phone and will post more detail later from my comp

All the smartassery responses are only slightly less useful than the serious ones.

fast rope upside-down through the master bathroom window, and clear from that direction.

Some pretty funny responses so far! Sorry OP, I've been trained and have cleared buildings and you couldn't pay me enough to tackle this one without some serious help. Sometimes knowing how to do something includes the knowledge of when you shouldn't do it.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

And definitely won't go over well if you do end up finding and shooting someone.
Yep, some woman was convicted for running out of the house to get away from her attacking boyfriend, getting a gun out of her glove compartment in the car in the garage, and GOING BACK INTO THE HOUSE to shoot the boyfriend. There was no chance she would've won that on castle doctrine or generic self-defense because she had already succeeded in escaping from the boyfriend's attack.

This was at around the same time as the George Zimmerman trial.

Step 1, call the cops, step 2...actually there is no step 2 just call the cops dude. They do this for a living and practice practice in teams clearing houses. You are asking for advice on the Internet and are alone. Unless by clearing house you meant something else and in that case order a pizza and have friends help you box it all up.

Oh man this is dope! Great answer, why didn't I think off this?? Now off to Home Depot I go. Guns? I don't need guns, just paint, blowtorch, rope, skate board, rc car, tar and feathers, toaster, loud tv...I'm all set.

Now I understand why the Russia commando's use that silly little front roll, it could come in handy keeping you from having expose your back when clearing the master bedroom.

I keep a few handy. Toss it out the bedroom and close door. Or if i know intruder is in a room I'd toss one in and wait outside with guns ready to fire if he comes out armed. http://www.amazon.com/Fox-Labs-Grena.../dp/B008PI7LUG

Luckily for the responding officers, they will maintain the tactical prerogative of exactly who / when / how anyone gets "sent in." Not you.
