OK I know this wont be the first boo
DGM has gotten but I am getting frustrated with their McDonalds/Wal-Mart Style customer service...
I needed a Bobsled checked around online prices and found they were pretty much the same from the sites I looked at so I figured I would see if DGM could just get it for me from Brownells and then I could use my members discount and support my local Gun Shop at the same time... no biggie right?
*WRONG*
So I ask how long it would take to if I ordered from them and they say if you want the FREE shipping it will be about 2-3 weeks.... BUT if you pay for RUSH Shipping (an EXTRA $10) it can be here in about 5-7 days...I say sure I do need it sooner than 2-3 weeks so I PAID for the expedited shipping charges.
I called them on day 7, on day 10 and even went into the shop on day 14 and they kept saying I dunno did someone call you let me check (goes off and looks through a drawer for a few seconds then helps another customer and never comes back) I ask another "helpful" employee and he just says "did they call you?!?" and I am like NO but the reason I paid the $10 buck *shows him recept* is so it would be here and I know you guys have received multiple orders since then, did you guys even order it and on what day!?!
He never comes back to help me either... I took a few friends there to shoot and we waited 45 min. w/ front of the line member privilege because they were to busy "selling" to check out the two groups of hippie kids with the rental guns!
I am standing there eyes and ears on Pelican Case and ID in hand and the guys with the rental start whining because they have been waiting for 5 min to get their IDs back!!!
Than I storm over to the counter and remind them that I am a member that has been waiting 45 min. and there are 2 groups that need to return and get their IDs back, then they have the balls to pre tend that they some how didnt notice the group of 10 people at the range counter when there are the same 8 customers that they have been BSing with for the last half hour WTF!!!
By the time we load and put up targets we get off a few mags then they blink the light and we gotta pack up.
I told the dude when we were checking out that we waited the whole time and didnt even get to really shoot and if I could bring back my friend tomorrow and he could waive the fee for him because it was his first time shooting and I wanted to properly introduce him to firearms, to which he replies, "We dont give out no FREEBIES!" and then proceeds to blame Obama for their lack of customer service!!!
Wow, if you read any of my posts you will know I am no fan of Barack H. Obama but give me a #@&*ing break now I have heard it all their incompetence in San Diego is LEGENDARY and as far as giving them my $$$ well I think when this year runs out I will find a new range to pay my dues!
