Years ago "gun culture folks" concluded the AP to have a decidely antigun bias. IIRC correctly some 40% of their storys had no source.

Its entirely obvious you have never listened to Limbaugh for more than a few seconds .
Wouldn't your opinion be of more value if you listened for a couple of days ?
20 million RKBA daily listeners to the Limbaugh show should peak the interest of "gun lovers" which I assume you are .

The govt buying during the last 2 years certainly didn't make ammo more available for the civilian market, but it's the hoarders and the flippers that did the vast amount of damage to the rest of us getting some ammo. Look at .22LR, govt doesn't buy very much of that, but the rimtards going berserk and hoarding and flipping caused the price to triple...Out and out bans like the 7n6 and now the 5.56 green tip, that's a different story than the govt buying it...

Rush acknowledged he's not in the gun culture, and was just reporting what he was reading in other sources. His program is going thru the rest of the media and commenting about it. Have the Drudge Report open while he does his thing, you can see he's using that as a source.

You have to be pretty hard core gun culture to understand a lot of what's going on...How many peeps outside the GC would understand what 7n6 is?

You're totally right. I'll now get my stock advise from Howard Stern. And I'll make all my voting decisions based on Car Talk.

Perhaps he isn't a source of good advice.
I am/was a rush baby. Always interested in politics. Have not listened to rush in several years at this point. Still agree with the guy and politically we are still on the same page. Just don't need to be reminded of things the criminals in Washington do on a daily basis. However whenever I run across people who have negative/disparaging opinions of rush I ask one simple question- what station is he on? I know liberals have a stranglehold on the word but bigotry is a 2 way street.

I think most conservative personalities are demonized from the gate which it wrong in and of itself. While liberals enjoy the right to their opinion it seems many forget that conservatives also have a valid right to their own. It's no surprise that so many people pick on Rush. One thing you've got to give the guy is he has the guts to share his opinions without worrying sounding politically correct. Same goes for Sean Hannity.

Or worrying about being correct at all, which is why he is being discussed in this thread.

Again, clowns, musicians, actors and other entertainers don't have to be correct, about anything.

Rush Limbaugh is a serious political commentator, the fact he's often entertaining makes his program even more valuable in securing liberty.
Rush is not popular because he is a leader,he's popular because he says things that his 20 million daily listeners know to be correct in many instances.

Why supposed gun owners would denigrate serious progun personalities and news venues is a question I have no answer for .

Anyway, you Rush bashers are winning. Your electing democrats who are passing laws against your safety and your gun rights.
                        Thanks Guys!

Yeah.....yeah they do and what does the right have? Talk radio and Fox? See how much time the left put in plus they pretty much own the schools and unions.
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

The government just destroyed millions of 5.56 rounds, why would they buy up more to destroy?

The shooters will use it all up on their own.

I'm not saying don't enjoy or agree with Rush. But his show is a political EDITORIAL show. An editorial is opinion based. They can say anything they want, the responsibility is placed on the listener to validate the material.

People repeating OPINION as FACT because they heard it from someone famous, seriously WTF? Rush isn't an expert. He's a very talented radio show host. He sits in a little cube somewhere and talks. He's not an investigative reporter, or a researcher or a scientist. He's an ENTERTAINER.

Here's what I remember. Rush going to rehab for 30 days for Opiate addiction. Something typically treated inpatient for months to a year at least. I knew from that point he was a totally FOS. I don't even believe he's clean now. But that's my opinion.

Why are you talking about bigotry? Because I don't like Rush's radio show because I rather do research and form my own opinions, instead of being spoon fed random thoughts by the editorial equivalent of a Kardashian.
