I don’t see the big deal if they are honoring exemptions. If you can submit a medical and religious exemption request then do it and you are golden. In fact, offering exemptions sort of makes the entire mandate thing irrelevant.

ANY employer mandating the vaccine should at least take the hit on their worker's compensation insurance if there are ANY side effects. I am sure that the admin will work to block such things, but if you get an adverse reaction, submit a worker's comp claim.

OP-Sorry to hear it's come down to that. Hopefully it all works out for you in the end whichever way you decide.

So, I have questions about all of this. Even if the employer has an allowance for X days off to get vaxxed and to recover from any side effects, like some have said, what about disability? Will they be on the hook for 100% of your normal salary incl bonus etc for making you take this stuff?

What about any co-pays or bills related to hospital stays? Who pays that?

What about a career ending disability? Who pays for the loss of your livelihood? For how long? What about any spouse or family member who now has to care and feed you because of it? What if they have to quit working or any other lost wages?

Just a side note-I have a friend who's husband got myocarditis after his 2nd Moderna shot. He's around 40 years old. Wound up in ER and a 3 day hospital stay. He's still out on disability after more than 6 mos. Heart is stable, but not improving. They talked about putting a defibrillator in him. This whole thing stinks.

Someone I know is a Christian, also a lawyer specializing in CA employment law, and working at a firm that mandated the vax. Regarding this series of tweets, he noted that she (Dhillon) is respected in legal circles. In other words, her analysis is correct.
