Privately held, very Christian executive team. They just sent the email, get vaccinated by 11/1, get an exemption, or else.

I have three choices:

1) Get vaccinated (nope), or upload a bogus vaccination card (again, nope).

2) Submit paperwork for a medical or religious exemption.

3) refused to get vaccinated by the deadline, and face the consequences.

So, it's really a choice between 1 & 2. Hell of a thing, to take a man's livelihood because he won't submit to poisoning himself.

I'm stuck between playing the game and claiming a religious exemption, or just standing up to be counted. Leaning very heavily towards the latter..... how are we going to defeat the enemy if we don't stand up?

I sailed on ships world wide for 38yrs. We always had to be inoculated for various virus's and diseases. We either got the shots, or got off the ship and didn't have a job. Nobody cried about it.

Business decision, as far as I can tell. ~30% of our billable contracts are in heath-care and government, and they are demanding that all vendors are vaccinated or no contract. Bend the knee, or lose 30% of your revenue stream.

Best I can tell, at least 25% of the P.S. engineering staff that I'm a part of say they will not vaccinate. Talk is cheap though, and I will have to see who stands up on Nov 1st.

Just curious, what is their policy? Is just, "go to cvs and get the shots or you are fired"? Are they willing to be liable for any damages? Not that you are considering it, I'm just curious how these companies are walking around the law and avoiding lawsuits.
