I think there's gonna be plenty of lawsuits going around for any terminations and I'm not so much talking about SF city employees.

My company, starting tomorrow you can basically sign an affidavit, declaring when you were vaxxed and with what vaccine. If you don't or "decline to state", you must remain masked. I presume some language to the effect that if found lying on the form will be grounds for discipline/termination.

I work for the City of SF and haven't received anything saying I'm required to be vaccinated. I have received requests to give my status, but I checked the "decline to answer" box. As far as most of us being commie zombies, I'd have to disagree and say it's definitely a 50/50 mix. Thankfully the small group that I work with are 75% conservatives. There are some definite pinkos, but most of the tradesmen seem to lean right, even more so now that we're being run by actual commies. If I hear anything I'll update the thread.

It all comes down to "reasonable" accommodation. For some workplaces it might be as simple as requiring that the person wear a mask and maintain social distancing.

In workplaces where there might be at risk co-workers, or clients, reasonable accommodation may mean the unvaccinated person must work alone without any personal contact with co-workers, customers, nor will they be able to share work spaces/restrooms and what not with co-workers and customers. In these types of workplaces, there are likely to be few available accommodations.

It is still a hotly debated subject with legal experts on both side of the issue.

EEOC however says that employer can mandate EUA Covid vaccines.

I knew something like this was coming once Newsom made his announcement.

If you are a government worker in CA, you will be required to get vaccinated. I'm certain of it. He will implement his database for government workers and any other company who wants to use it.

And if booster shots are needed, they will be required as well. The line I believe has been drawn.
