If you're not set on new, you should be able to pick up a used Winchester 1300 in the same price range. They are no longer in production, and don't have the after market of the 500 or 870, but they sure have a slick pump action.

Nice collection bud. I agree that the Winchesters are nice and often overlooked. Not sure which one it was but a few years ago I saw one at wild sports that was nice a pump 18 1/2" I think it was. Had the cool little orange logo on it Not sure what the resale prices are. I' am always wary about buying anything like a firearm used. The Like calling a hooker a virgin lol sales threads are always half lies

You can take the China stuff, I'll stick with US products.

For the record, your first post was correct, your second post, not so much. Maverick shotguns are ASSEMBLED in Eagle Pass from stocks, barrels and receivers built in the US with the majority of the remaining "small" parts coming out of Mexico. This accounts for the more economical price point of the Maverick line.

A few Minor MIM (Made in Mexico) parts should not make much of a difference. IIRC, a lot of people say the Springfield Armory Loaded (1911) has some MIM parts. Many other 1911's also contain some MIM parts. Overall, these are still great guns.
Thank you for your observation. I doubt it would cause too many people not to buy the gun.

I agree 100%, some of the parts being made in Mexico is no big deal however to say that the gun "Made in USA" isn't accurate. It's assembled here, just like many other fine products.

And when they talk about MIM parts being used by Springfield Armory, they aren't talking about "Made in Mexico," they are talking about Metal Injection Molding. Parts like grip safeties, hammers, safetys, slide stops, etc. are many times MIM products. It bothers some people, others not so much.

Springfield slides and frames(and many small parts) start in Brazil(not Mexico) as either blanks, partially completed or fully finished products. Some are assembled here, many are assembled there. They are made by Imbel for Springfield. Doesn't change the quality of the base product.

                    I did not know this.
                    Different use of same acronym.
I bought my Son a Fender Guitar (American Made Telecaster) last year. Fender has a huge factory in Mexico. All of those Fenders are described as MIM (Made in Mexico). I assumed the term was universal.
                    Thanks again.

Does anyone have any experience with the Escort line of shotguns by Legacy Sports? I've been considering their Aimguard and Marineguard as value priced alternatives to their Remington counterparts.

                          Magazine extension tube

I just bought the top of the line one from Buds last week.

Does anyone know of a magazine extension that works for these shotguns ?

                          Thanks !

Benelli Nova Tactical on sale a Turners now for $399.

That's a hundred more for a good shotgun.

Look around in pawn shops for a nice used 870 or 500.
