    I need a LIFE!!

I have one now and it has been constant problems. Same with my 2 friends. We bought all 3 out of the same shipment a few months ago.

It seems to be a different problem every shot (if you're lucky enough to have a shot go off). There are FTF, FTE, double feeds, you name it. About half the time you get light strikes and no bang. Sometimes there's no mark on the primer at all.

I really wanted to like this shotgun, but the 3 of us are frustrated as hell. We're in the process of documenting all the problems and will send them back to UTAS. Hopefully they can get them to work.

And no, we aren't short stroking. In fact, we're working the action so deliberately and violently we're afraid the gun is going to fall apart. But if we don't, the misfires are even more frequent.

During the height of the scare, I spotted one at the Costa Mesa gun show. Dude was walking around trying to sell one for $13,000!

It's too bad, the gun is really well built, like a HK, but somewhere in the design there is a flaw which doesn't lock the bolt up solidly enough in battery to preclude light primer strikes.

I'm going to send mine back one more time to try to get it right, but the fact it's been in once already with no change to the problem makes me think this is a design flaw they don't have a fix for.

I really wish they would import the Neostead so the price of these speciality shotguns would drop.

Just got mine back from the factory today.

Video of the range trip to follow, after that you can draw your own conclusions about the gun.

Just got my refund. The gun was never reliable in firing. The fore grip had to be pushed forward for the gun to fire. Anyone I had shoot it had issues with no fires as they didn't know the trick!! There is also the issue with the hammer falling when the gun is out of battery. If you are trying to pump it early and pull the trigger the bolt will release before the hammer falls and if it ever did make contact with the primer that would be a mess in your face.

I think a gun needs to fire when you pull the trigger. Other than that (which is really a show stopper) the gun seemed nice. No misdeeds, no jams, easy to load, great fit, hit the clays easily.

It's too bad it didn't work , I really liked the way it felt.

That said , I can't recommend this gun to anyone as it's non functioning.
