Seems you would want to wait a couple of years to let the fools who bought the first production run deal with the new model problems? [that is what I do]
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

yeah, figured split hairs would come into play on this point given its "receiver" is in "the stock". Obviously. I was being somewhat crass to make a point. But I should have expected this lowest common denominator response to a side point.... sadly.

So you missed the greater point I was making as I saw it as Shrubmaster said "attempt to use bead or sights with your cheek on the reciever" implying it would be hard to do and in fact every photo and video shows the user putting his "cheek on the receiver" (or stock depending if you want to split hairs).. doing exactly what he implies would be hard to be done and it seems to be the ideal method for this shotgun and what everyone does.

Also, he said "Putting their rail on top of the other rail would actually help, as the sights are completely useless they're raised up..." and the photos and videos clearly show it works just fine as is and you dont need to raise your sights and it is not "completely useless" with sight on the rails unraised and not a single photo or video shows a rail on rail or raised rail system - not even the Mesa Tactical setup.

Last, he said "or you can just lay your face accross the top of the gun to use the stock ones." clearly implying this is some kind of issue and yet, it is what every video and every photos shows is done and done successfully.

I thought it was cool when announced, since then the time has gone by and I've seen some youtube videos of it in action, now not so impressed. I'd rather spend $300 on a Mossberg or something and upgrade it than plunk down $700-800 on this.

He was talking about doing that with an 870, not a KSG.
"Ok, go grab your westside fingers 870 and attempt to use bead or sights with your cheek on the receiver.
(I guess the westside fingers part was a jab at your glock product or something)

A batch of product looks to be in transit.

"And we got confirmation from them last night that a batch of "several hundred" are heading out for distribution as you read this. What's "several hundred?" More than ever existed before... honestly, we're just happy to know they're out there and looking for new homes."

I'd expect some really ridiculous auctions on GB happening in the near future

BTW, anyone else notice the sights on backwards in the preview picture for the video embedded on that page?

Cool, now maybe I will actually be able to get one before I die of old age.
