How do I lock my shotgun while it's on the wall?

Okay so for about a week, I have been keeping my shotgun in the corner of my room, 5 rounds on the stock but with the mossberg lock on. However, Today I hung my shotgun, I don't like how it looks with the lock on while on the wall, Is there another way to secure it? Mind you, I'm in my room at all times when I'm home, When I'm not home my room is locked.

However, Apart from this, I have 2 nephews that are in our house at all times..., They're 4 & 5 and I doubt they would even be able to load the gun, Let alone unmount it (It has a fish hook which needs the shotgun to be at a certain angle for it to release). I do realize, The ammo needs lots of pressure to actually load it into the feeding tube, As well as to load it into the chamber. However there is always that paranoia inside that will make you be afraid they do something stupid with it.

Do I just ignore looks and lock it with the mossberg or is there another way to prevent use? P.S. The safety is always on, But I don't trust that.

Sorry about the pictures, I couldn't find my camera so I used my cell.

This is exactly where it's placed.

    Closer look

The hook holding on to it.

Maybe some pictures of it hanging on your wall so we can get a better idea of what you're talking about.

wait a minute,, your worried how your shotgun looks with a lock on it,,, seriously??

        keep it unloaded
keep the cable lock on it
keep the ammo out of reach and locked

I'm uploading pictures right now..... Sec.

Also, I know that was pretty dumb, But I'm the type of guy that only cares about looks and appearance. Heck, Everything I buy has to be a certain color, Placed a certain way, Placed in a certain mode (Straight line, Bunched up etc. Depending on what it is.)

I will update OP once the pics are up.

          Edit :

Pics are up, Please don't look at the mess... I'm on the verge of moving my room around.

I have 27 or so guns. I have two young boys. I wouldn't keep a Daisy out within the reach of a kid. How OCD you are with lines and rows and stuff has got dick to do with keeping your boom critters out of the way of the carpet critters.

My gats are all in the safe and always have been. Admiring your gun while surfing porn(kidding) should not trump child safety.

You might find a rubber-clad steel cable, loops on each end to shove through the open action and down the barrel and back. Lock with a quality padlock.

insted of risking the rugrats getting ahold of it and killing eachother just grow up and put it in the safe where it belongs... besides a bat looks a lot cooler on the wall than a shotgun..
Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days, and you know where you were then, girls were girls and men were men, mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again, didn't need no welfare states everybody pulled his weight, gee our old Lasalle ran great, those were the days!

                        who wants a fishtank?

                            IMO...
Lock the shotgun in the safe and hang airsoft on the wall.
