ammo prices

So were do you buy your ammo? In the rimfire section walmart seems to be the place for ammo. So what about shotgun ammo? Buck, bird, slugs, brand ect.

I get trap shot from Wally World also. ~$22 for 100 shells. 00 Buck I just get from any local shops.

I also get my trap/skeet ammo from walmart. The federal game loads are actually the cheapest. I believe it comes out to about $4.67/box.

Same as the guys above. Trap ammo at Walmart. For 00 buck I usually wait till there's a sale at Turner's and then get it then. Slug ammo, usually at the local store

Depends on what I'm looking for. For LE-grade defense loads, online with whoever has what I want. For everything else 12ga, Walmart.

I buy my Trap/Birdshot from Walmart. #7 or smaller STEEL SHOT Muahahahahaha!

But, buying SG defense ammo is no laughing matter. The prices are horrendous

THIS is going to be one of the better self-defense rounds, good company too. You don't need that many defensive rounds, a few to pattern, and a box or so stashed away.

For just birdshot? Wally world every time.

Well in my area Wall Mart does not sell ammo so I resort to big 5. They usually have competitive prices. When I am in a area that has a wal mart that sells ammo I will pick some up there.

Bird is from Wally World. I buy all my Winchester Lo Recoil 00 buck and Winchester Lo Recoil slugs from MiWalls at the gun shows. I buy cases at a time to make it worth while. I always have 3 or 4 boxes of 3" 00 or 000 buck for the spinner at Pala and I pick those up from Mi Walls too.

I have been buying the Winchester or Remington buckshot at Walmart, for about $10/15 rounds.

00 buck is always about 5 bucks per box. I usually just buy a box when I go to a gun store and just look around. It adds up after a while. When I see slugs for 3.99 or less (sometimes less) then I get a box of that instead.
I gotta check this Miwal thing out though.

GF loves to shoot clays. Walmart has best local prices for both my 12 and her 20 Ga..
Clays are cheap too. A couple hours of Clay shooting for both of us in the local Forest ~$55.

Wally World !! The Fed Game Loads are great for Skeet/Trap @ $4.76/box. The Win/Fed 4 packs are good too, and the prices just got lower to $20.97/4 box pack.
