I shot trap a few times a month for a couple years. Not on a league, but I did shoot with a few guys that did, and a couple kids who shoot on school teams. You can deffinetly tell when a group shoots together for awhile. They do develop a rythem. If you want to continue shooting trap in a league, look for another squad, or start a new one. Your scores are fine. I would not sacrafice good scores over a couple of seconds, to accomodate anther shooter.
There are other games. You mentioned that you live close to and are possibly interested in shooting Sporting Clays at Coyote Valley. I would recommend giving Sporting Clays a try. Check out the main course. Note: Open until 8:00 pm Wednesday and Thursday evenings April thru October.

Sporting clays is a fun and safe shotgun sport for the entire family. Mechanical traps are used to throw clay disc targets in varying directions allowing a shooter with a shotgun the opportunity of a sporting challenge anytime of the year. Sporting clays is commonly referred to as “golf with a shotgun”.

I've found that I really like 5-stand & Sporting Clays. That range looks very nice and I would like to shoot there one day. Price per clay is a little higher than Skeet or Trap (worth the $ for me).

Who you telling! I know a guy who shot 100 straight with the pink stuff. His on laughed at him for having it but STFU after he shot that hundy straight.

and it's usually a little cheaper in my experience, because "real men" don't want to buy it.

That "pink" ammo is a Federal Top Gun target shell. No different than any other shells in the Top Gun line.

Having lost a dear friend to breast cancer, I gladly bought these shells knowing a portion of the sale funds research for a cure. Same thing goes for buying the red, white and blue shells fund wounded warriors.

I've seen these "grumpy old men" on different ranges. Not just trap. The saddest thing about them is they turn people off to shooting. I hate seeing that.
