It doesn't really affect the hoarders, since they're hoarding and not selling. But yeah, if everyone had made this decision right off the bat, the people lining up at stores in the morning to buy .22lr and sell it for double or more wouldn't have had customers, and the whole "gouging" routine would have stopped pretty quickly. Sure it might not have been readily available on the shelves as it had been previously, but the situation still would have been better off.

Is it really that hard to buy 22LR? Seriously? I picked up over 2,000 rounds today from Cabela's and Gander online orders, and most of that was a nickle a round or less. I believe I'll continue to shoot my 22's. Good luck with your boycott.Comment

Hmm, 17,000 rounds. You may be on the watch list.I never game a cent to gougers. I have 17K rounds of 22lr for myself so if there is another panic and its hard to get I have enough to hold me over. I buy online or walmart whenever I see it. I dont wait in line...ever. I buy when I come across it and still manage to have my own supply.
I try to keep less than 10 rounds on hand at any given time

That's what I did after the last panic was over, as soon as Wally lifted their restriction. They had cases of the stuff for $15/box
In these Obama years that seems like a distant memory

The last .22 I bought was about .065 CPR, about a year and a half ago, from midway.
I've never bought any from the flippers and I'm not gonna start.
I too buy it when I can...if the price is right.Sorry, not sorry.
