It doesn't really affect the hoarders, since they're hoarding and not selling. But yeah, if everyone had made this decision right off the bat, the people lining up at stores in the morning to buy .22lr and sell it for double or more wouldn't have had customers, and the whole "gouging" routine would have stopped pretty quickly. Sure it might not have been readily available on the shelves as it had been previously, but the situation still would have been better off.

And you DIDN'T pick up a brick o' 500+ EVERY TIME you went to the store, for the previous 5 years, BECAUSE..???

Is it really that hard to buy 22LR? Seriously? I picked up over 2,000 rounds today from Cabela's and Gander online orders, and most of that was a nickle a round or less. I believe I'll continue to shoot my 22's. Good luck with your boycott.

            How about a .177cal air gun? Many advertise 1200 - 1400 fps.
I generally shoot my .22lr rifle at 50 yards anyway.

Hmm, 17,000 rounds. You may be on the watch list.

That's what I did after the last panic was over, as soon as Wally lifted their restriction. They had cases of the stuff for $15/box

Unless you have small kids that need to shoot or are just starting out....

I am looking at bb-guns now then on to .22 for him.

                    I haven't bought any 22LR in 2 years.

A few weeks back I was doing some housecleaning, and I found a 2/3rds full case that I had completely forgotten about. Score!

                          Good, don't buy from flippers!

Don't give up on shooting though, ammo will come back its just a matter of time.

This right here. I haven't shot 22lr in 2 years. I've just been reloading and shooting a lot more 9mm.

The last .22 I bought was about .065 CPR, about a year and a half ago, from midway.

I've never bought any from the flippers and I'm not gonna start.

I too buy it when I can...if the price is right.
                                Sorry, not sorry.
