    Done with Rimfire

Yes, I'm on strike. No more hoarders and gougers will be rewarded. No more .22LR purchases until they are at 5 cents. I still have some, but I'm shooting .223 that I reload.

I will not be part of this scam. I'll keep the .22's well oiled, but will shoot .223. Screw them all! I'm not playing that game.

That's the spirit, .22 is impractical.
    7.62x39 is my new .22

I never game a cent to gougers. I have 17K rounds of 22lr for myself so if there is another panic and its hard to get I have enough to hold me over. I buy online or walmart whenever I see it. I dont wait in line...ever. I buy when I come across it and still manage to have my own supply.

Well haven't purchase 22 ammo for a while, and I know what you mean, but do have a reasonable amount, need this for Grandson, and will continue to take him.

Although......he's been told, if he pulls he's grade average up, he can move on to other calibers, AR up next

Yep. I haven't bought .22 from any private seller this whole time. I think the last time I shot .22 was in like January of this year.

I stopped buying .22 after 525 federal boxes went up to $30. I got some 22 but haven't bought more in almost 2 years.

You should have bought .22lr 15 years ago & you wouldn't be upset. Unless of course you shoot more than anyone else, which you don't! I love rimfire, always have. Personally, I've never believed this is, or has been a "scam" The griping has worn out it's welcome. USA has recorded record gun sales since late 2007. Which caliber is the most common for new shooters, or new gun purchases....? Twenty two long rifle. My first 3 guns were .22's. That started about 1975.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

last year my stepdad gave me his stash of 25K rounds from 10-15 years ago since he doesnt shoot that anymore. He still has a old 22lr browning but almost never shoots it.
Still at his house, I keep forgetting to pick it up. That will make it a total of almost 42K rounds.

Walmarts in hemet and san jacinto have been getting some .22lr bulk and others. They have also lasted on the shelf a little bit longer than before.
I will not pay over retail! And have sold some of my .22 for what I paid (walmart prices) so that friends/acquaintances can take their kids out shooting.
Looking forward to when the "private resellers/free marketeers" have to sit on or sell their .22lr stocks for walmart type prices.
                          .22lr seems to catching up.

When there is money to be made, eventually the manufacturers will bring more machinery online and those hoarders will be stuck with inventory. I never buy ammo from private parties. Walmart, or when it goes on sale online. I feel the same about SSE guns. There are always people who buy things to sell for more later. I buy stuff because I want it, I want to enjoy it, that's all.
