Midwayusa .22 lr fail!

I just got a email from Midwayusa that ALL my .22 lr backorders have been cancelled. A case of Winchester 555, a case of Wildcats, and a Bucket all that I have been waiting for over a year to get.

Don't order from them, this is not a correct way to run a business.

Midwayusa has been added to my S-list along with CTD.

The mistake midway made was they were taking back orders for a good 2-3 months. They must have taken tens of thousands of orders.

Yeah, people act the the government is going to ban .22 lr. This rimfire shortage and panic buy BS is getting old, going on two years here.

yup me too. my case of minimags that i ordered on November 18, 2013 just got cancelled today. i sent an email to their customer service saying i've seen the ammo come back in stock during the year so why the hell did they never ship my back order. i'll post here their response. feels shady as hell though.

They refused to fill my order for $32,000 dollars worth of B.O. ammo. I cancelled. They kept telling me they didnt have it when I could see them list it as "in stock" on their page and sell it to other people. Order was placed Nov 2011

If your credit card expires before they ship the product, they automatically cancel the order. I do not know if that happened to you.

Credit card info was good to go. Like everything else its about money, Midway makes more selling the .22 lr limit 1 or 2 and charging $15-20 shipping.

The bottom line is Winchester, Remington, CCI, and Federal are cranking out .22 lr 24/7 and Midway WILL eventually receive the ammo I ordered. I hope they lose customers because of this, I for one am likely never ordering shooting gear from them again.

my case of winchester 555s was canceled today also.

I have 5000 minimags on b/o with them and just got a notification that my card expired/was about to expire. I checked and the card expires 2/2015. Order will still in good standing, but I switched it to a 2018 credit card just to be safe.
