I wonder if they set those e-mails to arrive at a set time say like 10AM in Each time zone so the East coast people get the message 3 hours ahead of us. I have NEVER! gotten any .22LR from those e-mails, they are always sold out by the time I get them.

ps I got burned on that bucket o' bullets deal too. I waited on backorder for a year, while watching places like CDNN advertising it every other week, albeit at $140/bucket vs the $64 I was waiting on.

I don't get why manufactures have not been able to step production of .22 lr up. This rimfire drought has been going on way too long and is getting old. Started November 2012, now its March 2015 and still no .22 ammo.

My home range, (Oak Tree), has plenty of CCI rimfire. Not at a price I'm willing to pay, but it's available in quantity.

Today, just one month after Midway cancelled my order for 1400 rounds Bucket-o-bullets, they send an email saying its in stock. I try to place an order about 3 hours later, and its all gone.

What's with that Midway? I place a backorder, patiently wait just over a year. Midway cancels my order, but one month later its in, but I can't get any. Some lucky people get it, but they sure weren't in line as long as I was.

Yes, it was exactly the same product number. Midway, you get an "F" in customer service on this one...

I had a similar issue with Midway over the CCI Mini Mags #30. Waited 14 months on backorder, they cancel it, and then immediately send me an email stating it's available (at twice the cost) and then when I click on the link, not available!!

In my opinion, they've become an unreliable vendor with questionable policies.
