    fUD

Still cheaper to buy 22 at Gouger prices of $50 per brick than any other caliber
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

I haven't really worked that hard at it, but I've been able to find a few bricks here and there.

I'm doing just the opposite, all my recent gun purchases have been .22's and I think I'm gonna' go buy me a Buckmark tomorrow.

One of the recent buys was a bolt action XT-22 so I can slow things down and shoot a little more deliberately, which makes a brick last a little longer.

Then again, I also got a 15-22 so that kinda' cancels out the slower, more deliberate shooting.

Even though .22 prices are high relative to a few years ago, it's still cheap relative to other calibers.

        What did you sell?

I sold all of mine too only because I never used them. And I had plenty of 22 ammo as well.

I mostly shoot 9mm and have a nice stockpile, so I decided to sell off the 22s and get things I actually use.
          1A - 2A= -1A :(

I'm actually buying more!!! They are well worth it and fun to shoot. Do not give the government the advantage by selling your firearms or stopping at purchasing them.

I do agree with others though, no reason to sell all your 22s just because ammo is difficult. If you have internet access there is enough out there that you can get enough to shoot if you stay a little crafty about it. To each his own though.
Its great that he sold them instead of destroying them. but the attitude of "sell it if you cant shoot it" is a win for the antis. 22lr is hard to find, sell the 22s. 9mm gets hard to find, sell the 9mm. so on and so on until he has no more guns left and then he's just another guy who doesn't care to fight for the 2A because he doesn't have any firearms to shoot anyways.

Other than selling to upgrade or fund a new build, any time someone sells a gun its a win for the antis. especially when its sold out of frustration.
                  I don't own any guns...they're dangerous.

I do not follow the logic that if you sell your guns to other gun owners that the antis win. The ownership of firearms does not have a bearing in regards to one's stance on the second amendment.

You're not lazy, you're just not doing it right. By the way theres other ways besides leaving your job in the morning for walmart. Many here don't do that.

I will no longer sell any of my guns for any reason. I have seen enough mayhem caused by the gun control groups that I will always ALWAYS regret a sale. Doesn't matter if the gun was mostly broken, always jammed, needed tons of work, pitted barrel. I'm keeping it because chances are my kids will thank me later when I pass down all these cool toys that are no longer available for civilian purchase.

Just think of the guys who registered buckets full of full-auto sears. You guys who didn't are kicking yourself because you could be selling these little pieces of metal for $15,000.

Selling guns is always a bad choice in my opinion however most of this is a result of perception rather than reality. So as long as there's players, there will be a scarcity game.
If this is based on the perception of a gun grab then as somebody already appropriately stated...it's the new reality..........unless of course you think there's a huge number of gun friendly folks about to assume office throughout this land and rescue us all.

A new generation of young shooters is in the process of becoming a vanishing breed.

Antis and hoarders = a marriage made in hell!

How many rounds do you keep on hand?
