I was going to post my experience with the M22, but you beat me to it . The stuff works great for me. Anyone in the Modesto area that has any and wants to sell it to me let me know.

Works fine in my M&P 15-22.

Shot about 300 rounds through a SR22. Only about 5 didn't fire. Not a big deal.

I scored a 1000rds of this through a friend recently who said it fed great in his semi-autos. I'll give it a run soon in the stock 10/22 and see how it does.

Scientific analysis of my experience with M22 ammo:

Bolt and lever action .22's- its okay, <flyer warning>

Semi auto- Ruger 10/22- meh, too many fte's (+\- 5%)
My marlin 60 HATES them

Hand guns- M&P22 - won't cycle half the time
High standard and S&W revolvers- i've had more than a few flyers

I'd never experienced stuck brass until I tried M-22. But with ammo scarce, I was glad to get it at the time. I think it is shootable, but requires a little extra care.

So I went to try and experiment again. I am a sucker for punishment. It plugged my MKIII Hunter up solid in about 70 rounds. That gun has a lot through it, several thousand rounds so it's well broken in.

The Volquartsen 1022 started to open up in it's groups after about 200 rounds.

I put about 160 rounds of Minimag through the Kidd and the stock barrel 1022's each to break them in more and switched back to the M-22. The stock barrel 1022 started to choke after 30 rounds and I didn't dare put it in the expensive Kidd. BTW both these guns were back to normal size groups after the long cleaning session although zero shifted a few clicks in both guns.

Since I now know about the peroxide/vinegar trick I was able to do the cleaning much faster this time. The MKIII was half blocked by lead! My daughters god mother was shooting it and she thought it was her fault when it started to keyhole and put in a few extra mags after that.

The Volquartsen and the stock 1022 were pretty leaded up although we stopped to where the lead was removable with a light peroxide soak and a bronze brush. The MKIII required a lot of soaking and the lead came out in sheets!

So I would avoid this stuff. In my opinion it leads worse than the infamous Thunderbolts. The "Black Copper Plating" is BS. I don't think it's plating, just some sort of junk coating. My daughter was able to easily rub it off with her fingernail.

Anyone want to buy my last box and 1/2? Trade for something else? I live in Cypress.

Well there are several members here that like it:

I'm one of those you quoted, and I'll chime in and say that yes, I like the stuff. It has worked well for me in a number of different guns, and I'll be trying it in my dedicated .22 build next week.

One other thing, even though it has worked we for me in all sorts of guns, it is billed as a round for today's "modern sporting rifles".

Since this stuff has screwed up bad in 4 of my guns, I would say that there must be a bad lot to lot variation in the stuff. Looking for reviews on the net shows that people either love this stuff or hate it.

I've bought 1k box a while ago, still haven't finished it. I get tons of failure to fire or deformed cases. Cases seem weak, they'll bend while loading into the chamber from the magazine.
